Child Saver Program

Farm Bureau Insurance has offered child restraint car seats to Virginia Farm Bureau members on a cost-share basis through our Child Saver Program since 1989. In that time, we have helped member families obtain more than 28,000 seats. This offer is only available to all members and is limited to three car seats and three booster seats per membership for the lifetime of the membership.

The Convertible Car Seat features a five-point harness and converts from a rear-facing design for infants 5-35 pounds to a forward-facing design for toddlers 22-40 pounds.  This seat features a removable, padded fabric pad and un-front harness adjustment.

The No Back Booster Seat is a belt -positioning booster for children 30-100 pounds. It has padded, covered armrests and a flip-down cup/juice-box holder.  Must use vehicle lap and shoulder belt.   

The High Back Booster Seat is a belt-positioning booster used for forward-facing only. This seat is for children 40-80 pounds and has removable fabric pad.  Also includes a removable cup/juice-box holder.  Must use vehicle lap and shoulder belt.   

All seats are made by Cosco® Juvenile to conform to government standards and distributed for VFB Safety by Mercury Distributing. Colors for all seats vary and are chosen at the factory for this program.  No substitutes or special requests are possible.

The Infant Car Seat is rear facing and features a five-point harness system for infants 5-22 pounds. This seat has a removable, padded fabric pad and has an adjustable carry handle with rubber overmold. It also lifts off the base with one-hand ease.
