Farm Bureau Insurance offers a $1,000 U.S. Savings Bond to teenage drivers who enroll into and maintain the standards of our Teenage Driver Safety Education Program.
In order to qualify, the teenager must be accident and conviction free and complete a brief training course conducted by a local Farm Bureau agent. The teenage driver and parent or legal guardian must sign the TDSEP contract to enter the program before teen’s 18th birthday.
For a continuous three-year period after signing the TDSEP contract, the teenage driver must meet several conditions including the following:
- Maintain a valid Virginia driver’s license
- Must be listed as a driver on a Farm Bureau Insurance personal auto
liability policy
- Maintain an accident-free and conviction-free driving record
If the teenage driver successfully completes the program, he or she is eligible for the savings bond. We encourage all teen drivers insured with Virginia Farm Bureau to enroll in this important program. It aids their ability to understand and employ safe driving techniques while saving money on auto insurance premiums.
