What types of coverages are offered with a Farm Bureau Auto Policy?
-
Liability Coverage
Bodily injury liability, which provides coverage on claims for the people you might injure in an accident. Property damage liability covers any property damages to third parties such as another person's car you damage if you are responsible.
- Other Than Collision Coverage
Coverage pays for damages to your auto caused by fire, vandalism, water, hail, glass breakage, wind, and falling objects. It also pays for parts that are stolen.
- Collision Coverage
Coverage pays if your auto collides with most objects, including another car, or if your vehicle overturns.
- Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage
Uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage protects you in the event you are injured by a driver who does not have insurance, a driver with liability coverage less than your uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, a driver whose liability limits are not high enough to cover your losses, or a hit and run driver.
- Medical Expenses and Income Loss Benefits
Medical Expense Benefits coverage will pay you, family, or occupants of your auto for reasonable and necessary medical, hospital, or funeral expenses that result from an auto accident regardless of who caused the accident. An injured, employed person may also receive up to $400 a week in income loss benefits.
- Transportation Expenses
Transportation Expenses will help pay for the rental of a car or use of other transportation if your car is disabled due to a collision or other than collision loss as defined in your policy.
- Towing and Labor
Towing and Labor will reimburse you for towing and roadside assistance if your vehicle is disabled.
